Eligibility Guidelines

The monthly food distribution provided by Word of Righteousness Family Life Center will occur on the first Saturday of each month from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Garfield Heights Community Center in Garfield Heights, Ohio.

Word of Righteousness serves the residents of Garfield Heights and the surrounding communities (including part of Cleveland, Bedford, Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights, and Independence).  Clients must certify their residence in one of these zip codes: 44125, 44105, 44146, 44137, 44128 and 44131.

Free food will be distributed for households that qualify under the new state and federal income eligibility guidelines.  Clients must certify that their current gross household income is at or below the monthly threshold allowed for the household size:

Household of 3 at $2,933                     Household of 4 at $3,533

Household of 5 at $4,133                     Household of 6 at $4,733

Household of 7 at $5,333                     Household of 8 at $5,933

Household of 9 at $6,533                     Household of 10 at $7,133

Those who wish to receive free food must be registered.  Those who have not registered may do so on the day of the distribution after 1:00 PM provided supply is still available.  Once registered, it is not necessary to register again.
